The Spice Girls will complete King Charles' coronation by officially reuniting at the historic event.

Fans have been feeling hyped after the girl group previously confirmed its 2023 reunion at Glastonbury. While the event is yet to happen, the members will reportedly mark their reunion at King Charles' coronation celebrations in May.

NZ Herald cited The Sun's Fabulous magazine, which reported that the organizers of the ceremony are aiming to invite the whole girl group.

"Royal organizers are super keen to secure Britain's biggest girl band and the Spice Girls are seriously pondering a return to the stage as a five-piece for such a historical event," a source said. "Certainly, the reality is that the Coronation is as special as The Olympics - a one-off celebration and unique performance."

It would mark as Spice Girls' first reunion with the monarch, as well, after previously meeting him several times in the 1990s. It might also be its next performance since the 2012 London Olympics as a complete five-piece.

For what it's worth, the multi-million girl group created a buzz when the girl group's members - Mel C, Mel B, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, and Victoria Beckham - broke the royal protocol and kissed then-Prince of Wales' cheeks during the Prince's Trust 21st anniversary in 1997. They also left him with kiss marks.

Buckingham Palace is yet to confirm Spice Girls' alleged appearance, but it already said that the Coronation Concert would be aired live from Windsor Castle on May 7.

On the other hand, it missed Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee concert because of the members' commitments. But King Charles' coronation would reportedly be a great way to get the band together again.

Mel B Confirms The Spice Girls' Reunion

Before the new report came out, Mel B said "something would happen" soon.

Per the singer, the members would launch a project they have been very excited about. Express UK quoted that the surprise performance would feature the five members.

Previously, The Sun reported that all members except Beckham attended a meeting at London's Corinthia hotel and discussed their upcoming project and concert. Mel C confirmed the development afterward.

The meeting, however, sparked concerns as fans thought it was a sign Beckham would not join them. But the members soon dismissed the claims and expressed their excitement to work with her again.
