Was Adele really bitter when her successful album "30" lost to Harry Styles' "Harry's House" during the 2023 Grammy Awards?

Fans speculated that the "Easy On Me" singer walked out while Styles was giving his acceptance speech for winning Album of the Year at the Grammys.

It was all thanks to a poorly spliced video of Adele simply walking out of frame as Styles accepted his award has been circulating the internet, which only brought a mighty amount of backlash towards the singer.

On top of that, according to the Independent, fans noticed that Adele looked unimpressed and did not clap or cheer the One Direction alum for winning the prestigious award.

However, another artist was sitting with Adele and Styles that night, and she saw everything happen right before her.

Lizzo came forward to set the records straight: Adele did not walk out during the "As It Was" singer's speech.

The "About Damn Time" singer took to TikTok to share a video that proved Adele was there the entire time Styles delivered his speech.

In fact, the "Rolling in the Deep" seemed to be very happy for Styles. The video showed her ecstatic expression as Lizzo turned the camera toward her.

"What are you filming me for?!" Adele jokingly asks, which basically translates to, as Buzzfeed put it, "film it, it's his moment!"

Adele's Reaction

Tons of videos, showing Adele's reaction, from different angles have been shared on social media, and many are still convinced that she wasn't too glad she lost. Some have even started making memes out of Adele and even Lizzo's reactions to Style's win.

While some have began bashing Adele, regardless of the video proof that she was thrilled for Styles, many fans continuously support her and even joke about her reaction.

"Whoever put Adele and Lizzo at the same table deserves a raise, these two were hilarious," a fan wrote.

"That table had to have been the most fun ever had," another added.

"She's so unintentionally funny."
