Lea Michele has her homework cut out for her in the next coming months!

In the past few months, everyone who has been on social media has already come across the Lea Michele reading illiteracy scandal that had everyone asking if she could really read or not.

Since then, everyone, including Michele herself, has addressed the issue head-on. However, as time went by, it became some sort of a running joke for everyone online.

Michele even rode with the joke, exacerbating the rumors and the growing confusion on the issue.

In one of her latest TikTok videos, Michele was very happy about the news that her idol, Barbra Streisand, will be launching her upcoming memoir, "My Name is Barbra."

Michele, smiling from ear to ear, clasps her fist in delight with a sense of accomplishment. But it was her caption that took everyone out.

"265 Days to Learn to Read," she said in the caption, along with an emoji of books on the lower part of the video.

Her fans and detractors alike have been jokingly and sarcastically using emojis to try and communicate to her in the comment section of her TikTok videos, helping her to "understand" their messages since they believe that she doesn't know how to read.

"I went to Glee every single day; I knew my lines every single day. And then there's a rumor online that I can't read or write? It's sad. It really is. I think often if I were a man, a lot of this wouldn't be the case," Michele told The New York Times before, debunking rumors of her illiteracy.

According to Billboard, Barbra Streisand's Memoir "My Name is Barbra" will be released on Nov. 7, 2023.

Michele has been playing exceptionally well as Fanny Brice on "Funny Girl," on Broadway after taking over Beanie Feldstein's role last year.

Streisand famously played Brice on film in the 1968 William Wyler movie "Funny Girl," which catapulted her to fame.

She has been very supportive of Michele on her recent undertaking, even leaving a very thoughtful message on one of her shows.

"She was like, 'It's really wonderful when your dreams come true, isn't it?' And I just, like, fell to my knees and I called Ryan Murphy, my mom, Jonathan Groff and Michael Mayer," Michele revealed on The Late Night with Seth Myers.
