2nd Annual Run For Joy
For only $40 per person, participants receive registration to the race, a race t-shirt and a fundraising page to help raise funds and awareness for the Hands & Feet Project and the abandoned children of Haiti. Plus, racers will get to rub elbows and run with artists like All Things New, Citizen Way, David Dunn, for KING & COUNTRY, I Am They, KJ-52, Mark Schultz, Mark Stuart of Audio Adrenaline, Moriah Peters, RED and Tenth Avenue North.
In a press release, Mark Stuart, Executive Director and co-founder of the Hands & Feet Project, talked about the event, saying, "Run For Joy was a fantastic event last year and we're excited to see this year's event grow even bigger. With more artists, more radio station teams, and being at Disney's Yacht Club, we are expecting a huge gathering! Run along side some of your favorite artists at the most magical place on earth and bring joy to Haiti's most vulnerable children!"
In addition to this year's race, there will be also be an online Run For Joy Celebrity Auction. Auction items, donated from various artists, labels, and businesses, are now open for bidding until the close of the race on September 6th. Items include exclusive concert experiences, autographed specialty swag and more from bands like Kutless, MercyMe, Newsboys, RED and Tenth Avenue North. Bid today at the auction site.
