Ed Sheeran and Chris Hemsworth introduced their unexpected relationship with a playful Instagram video. Who could have thought they can be the best of friends? The two cannot be farther from being two peas in the pod after all.
The clip depicts the "Thor" actor Chris chatting with Ed Sheeran backstage at the British singer's Saturday night concert in Brisbane. Ed, who is on the Australian leg of his Mathematics global tour, handed Chris his guitar while the actor gave him a prop resembling Thor's hammer in return.
"So basically I am really into like trading trade tools for trade tools," the "Shape of You" hitmaker said in the clip. "I'm going to give one of my guitars in return for someone else's tool."
The actor then appeared on-screen, jokingly saying, "I'm going to trade tools as well. I have a tool I am going to pass on."
Sheeran then swapped one of his stage guitars for Chris' Thor hammer, before each signed the items with their autographs.
"I think we should trade professions because I think I would make a better [Thor]," Ed joked.
The whole exchange was just adorable to witness.
Sheeran was also photographed with Liam Hemsworth on Friday, while he was celebrating his 32nd birthday. Aviation tycoon Paul Barrie O'Brien, a friend of Liam's who transports celebrities in private jets, posted an Instagram photo of the trio enjoying some beers behind the scenes. 'Showtime. A couple of early pioneers. Happy birthday, @teddysphotos,' he wrote in the photo's description.
Perhaps this is Sheeran's way of expressing his newfound passion for filmmaking. A career expansion would be beneficial. Ed Sheehan will soon be seen portraying a homeless drug addict in a new action-comedy flick, which is sure to shock viewers. Last year in London, the 32-year-old father of two starred with Denise van Outen, Jennifer Saunders, Jaime Winstone, Peter Serafinowicz, and Kevin Bishop in a major motion picture.
In another news, Hemsworth went shirtless and wore nothing but black swim trunks while surfing with his children on the beach. He was pictured walking on a surfboard near his home in Byron Bay, and he appeared to be in peak physical condition.
At one time, Chris, Tristan, and Sasha were shown unloading their surfing boards from the celebrity's truck after donning their wetsuits for the afternoon's activities.
He also donned a black long-sleeved shirt and took in the gorgeous scenery of the sunny area. His golden hair likewise moved in the water's breeze, giving him the appearance of a model posing for dramatic photographs. Before Chris' most recent surf trip with his kids, whom he shares with wife Elsa Pataky, he made news for posting a shirtless underwater Instagram video.
He held his breath and had his legs crossed when one of his boys swam by to interrupt him. At one point, the amusing father maintained concentration and humorously slapped him away.
