Travis Barker gave his fans a post-operation update after undergoing finger surgery.

On Wednesday, Barker shared his first post on Instagram following the surgical procedure he received for his torn finger ligament. He thanked his fans for their love and prayers as he underwent surgery.

"It was a hard decision to make, but ultimately I couldn't continue to play the drums without it. It was inevitable that my finger would have dislocated again without fixing the torn ligament surgically," he went on. "So grateful for Dr. Shin and that my surgery was a success so that I can keep doing what I love and see you guys on tour soon."

Barker also uploaded a photo of him on a hospital bed, capturing his hand and arm with a cast. The caption also contained a trigger warning to warn his followers before swiping the photoset, as the second photo shows a photo of his finger cut open during the procedure.

Will Travis Barker Join Blink-182 Reunion Tour?

Due to his finger surgery, fans became anxious that he might not make it to Blink-182's reunion tour. It was originally set to begin on March 11 at the Imperial GNP festival in Tijuana, Mexico.

Instead of having Barker miss the show, Tom DeLonge announced in an Instagram video Wednesday that the band's first-ever Latin American leg tour would be postponed to allow the drummer to recuperate.
