The "My Life Would Suck Without You" singer revealed in March via Twitter that she officially named her new album "Chemistry." She added that it might be one of the songs' titles.

"It's called Chemistry because I was trying to find a word that really described the whole thing 'cause I didn't want everybody to think that I was just coming out with some just like, 'I'm angry. I'm sad,' just one or two emotions," Clarkson declared.

The TV show host divulged how the album would serve as the "arc" of a relationship, adding that "Chemistry" could be a lot of things that it became the best title to describe the whole album.

Kelly Clarkson's New Album Is Inspired by Divorce from Ex-Husband

Clarkson first spoke about her upcoming project in a cover story interview with Variety in September. The singer surprised everyone when she revealed she had been working on it for two years following her split from Blackstock. They called it quits seven years after their marriage in 2013.

The "American Idol" 2002 winner opened up about the emotions she felt soon after the breakup and turned them into songs. A day before her interview with Variety, her producer reportedly laughed at how they once wrote 25 songs in just a week due to the overwhelming event.

Clarkson shares two children with Blackstock: River Rose and Remington Alexander.
