Earlier this week, Tanya Tucker and her fans expressed their excitement as she was announced as one of this year's Country Music Hall of Fame's inductee-elects. To celebrate her success, the musician revealed that she would be releasing a new album this year; when is it coming out?
According to Billboard, the country icon's upcoming record is titled "Sweet Western Sound," which will be available for purchase and streaming on major music platforms starting on June 2 via Fantasy Records.

The new country album will feature ten new songs. The record was made possible by Tucker herself and producers Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings.
This isn't the first time she collaborated with the two musicians as they also worked on her 2019 record "While I'm Livin'."
Her last album was a success as it snagged her first Grammy wins for best country album and best country song for her track "Bring My Flowers Now."
In a statement posted on her official Instagram account, Tanya Tucker revealed that her new record is "another revelation" and she's excited to see what the public thinks about her "new endeavor."

In the official album artwork, Tucker can be seen posing in the fields with a white horse standing behind her.
On working with Carlile and Jennings, the musician said it's always "a trip" collaborating with them and she wasn't expecting to work with them again on her upcoming project.
"Lots of new things we did this time and I even co-wrote some of the songs, which means a lot to me. Brandi says we're MAGIC together, and I'm starting to believe her!!!!" she added.
