Kane Brown disclosed his plans to take a break from the music industry once he wraps his Drunk or Dreaming Tour.

Brown has been expanding his career in different industries all at once in the past few months. He marked his acting debut in the CBS' "Fire Country" and released his song with his wife, Katelyn, titled "Thank God."

The country star also started his Drunk or Dreaming Tour and has since visited cities across New Zealand, Canada, the UK, and the US. But after the last leg, Brown revealed he would step away from the music industry temporarily.

Kane Brown Shares Plans After His Tour

Brown will have the last show of his Drunk or Dreaming Tour in September.

Before he takes a bow, he appeared in an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight when he attended the 2023 Stagecoach Festiva during which he said he wanted to take a break from the music industry to focus on his family and acting career.

"We're taking a couple of months off coming up," he said. "I don't know what I'm going to do. But you know, whatever's there, I'm going to try and pursue it."

The "Like I Love Country Music" crooner also told the news outlet that his time off would allow him to look into acting and make more time with his loved ones.

Brown revealed that they just acquired a Florida home. Thus, he wants to make memories with his wife and their daughters, Kingsley Rose and Kodi Jane.

The singer was tapped to perform his and his wife's hit duet, "Thank God," at the festival. Before the performance, he told the publication how excited and nervous Katelyn was to sing in front of the crowd.

However, the patriarch proudly said that he knew she was going to kill it.

The song hit No. 1 on Billboard Country Airplay. The song, which was released in September as part of his album, "Different Man," became Brown's 9th No. 1 in the chart.

Previously, he explained to ET Canada that the songs in his album contain messages about his mental health struggles. He opened up about feeling comfortable in sharing his stories after years of performing in the music industry.

For Brown, doing so made people talk about their own struggles and share everything, instead.

Before his upcoming break, Brown already took hiatus from music due to depression and anxiety.
