Dominated by black and filled with as many hits as misses, the red carpet of the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards was an explosion of unexpected outfits and bold statements. Among the best dressed were Puerto Rican artist Ricky Martin, who is set to receive the first Latin Icon Award in the history of the show, and singer Ashlee Simpson.
Also standing out were Argentine model Valentina Ferrer, wife of Colombian urban star J Balvin, who has a musical number during the ceremony, Sabrina Carpenter, Marlin Akerman from Netflix's Hunting Wives, and the members of international pop group KATSEYE, and rising artist Sombr.
