Kelly Clarkson's new song "Mine" caused Troye Sivan to doubletake; did she really just call him out like that?

A few weeks ago, Clarkson dropped her new song "Mine" in which she sings "Sabotage, your choice of art?/ Who the hell do you think you are?"

But apparently, she was not singing clearly enough because several people, including Sivan, thought she was singing "Troye Sivan, who the hell do you think you are?"

The "Bloom" singer took to social media and asked, "What did I do to upset Kelly Clarkson?" He also inserted a clip of the singer performing the song.

However, Sivan was no, by any means, upset with the misheard lyrics, in fact, he poked fun at the situation and started a fake feud between himself and the "Kelly Clarkson Show" host.

"This part kinda slays though. Like, imagine I make this my theme song where every time I walk out somewhere, they have to play this part?" He added in another TikTok post.

All Good Here

According to reports, the TikTok video of Sivan talking about the misheard lyrics reached Clarkson, who took the entire thing in stride.

The "Since U Been Gone" singer invited the "Youth" singer on to her show to smoothen things out between them, and apparently, it was the first time they'd ever even met!

"So I recently dropped a couple songs off my upcoming album Chemistry and I'm super excited about it," Clarkson said. "But this is my favorite thing to happen since I released it."

"Apparently, Australian singer Troye Sivan thought I was calling him out in my song 'Mine.'"

During the April 28th episode of the show, she brought in Sivan to apologize for the "mix-up."

However, it seems like neither one took offense in the entire thing because even Sivan thought it was hilarious.

"First of all, I'm sorry to be meeting this way, with, like, a fight. You know what I mean?" He joked. "'Cause I love you so much, and I have for so long."

'Troye Sivan, Who Do You Think You Are?'

When asked how the lyrics were misheard in the first place, the YouTuber-turned-singer explained how a friend suddenly asked him what he did to "upset" Clarkson.

"And I watched it and just immediately I had the same reaction. I was belly laughing because it's so scary," Sivan narrated. "You're so sincere when you sing it, as well, that I was like, 'Oh, my God, what did I do?' And then I immediately opened TikTok and made the TikTok."

According to reports, Clarkson now has trouble with performing that particular part of the song because she is constantly reminded of Sivan's words.
