Liz Phair is embarking on her latest rock tour concerts in the United States in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the "Exile in Guyville" album release in 1993.
The 18-date tour sees the rock legend touring on smaller-scale venues, which Variety initially noted to be something she could easily sell out. In 2018, at the 25th anniversary of "Exile in Guyville," Phair embarked on a similar scale.
This year, she will be accompanied by Blondshell, a burgeoning artist often compared to the Grammy-nominated artist. She will be opening all the dates on the tour.
Since embarking on the 25th-anniversary tour, Phair has already released two projects - her memoir "Horror Stories" and the 2021 album "Soberish."
Some of the songs from "Soberish" are expected to be played on the upcoming tour but mostly from "Exile in Guyville." Rolling Stone ranked the album as No. 56 on its 500 Greatest Albums of All Time; it has received huge critical acclaim since.
