All news is good news when it comes to the effects that it has on album sales. Such was the case last week when the unfortunate death of comedian Robin Williams led to two of his albums reentering the Billboard 200, and likewise for the death of Lauren Bacall, which caused a boost in sales for songs that reference her by name. In happier news, Kate Bush's recent comeback to the stage after 35 years has had a significant impact on her place on the UK charts.

According to NME (and the Official Charts Company), Bush will have 11 albums on this week's Top 100 (the UK version of the Billboard 200) thanks to the hype surrounding her concert series at the Hammersmith Apollo in London. Considering that Bush has released a total of nine records with a pair of compilations during her career, having 100 percent of them on the charts at the same time is a fairly solid accomplishment.

The highest-placing of the records was her 1986 greatest hits collection The Whole Story, which came in at no. 8. Hounds of Love, her 1985 album, placed at no. 14.

In related news, the performer's first gig appeared to go swimmingly on Tuesday. Bush performed 24 songs, including the entirety of her "The Ninth Wave," a conceptual suite of seven songs that make up the B-Side of Hounds of Love. The lost-at-sea themed portion of the set involved an onstage shipwreck.
