"We're cool," he said. "I hope to think they like me ... No one f-s with the Swifties, you know?"

As Swift's past relationships receive spotlights again because of her re-release albums, Jonas clarified to the podcast's host that the drama from their breakup - which has been documented in her "Fearless" song "Forever & Always" - is now "a relic of the past.

Jonas' comment came after Swift's other ex, Taylor Lautner, jokingly said he was praying for John [Mayer] over the "Speak Now" re-release. While appearing for an interview with TODAY, the "Twilight" actor said he feels safe while he worries about Mayer as he has been the target of Swift's strongest lyrics on the album.

Taylor Swift, Joe Jonas' Relationship Timeline

Swift and Jonas dated for a short-time in 2018, with the rumors starting to come out when the duo hit the stage together during the Burnin' Up Tour.

Their relationship was only confirmed after their split, with Swift revealing on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that Jonas broke up with her over a 25-second phone call.

"When I find that person that is right for me, he'll be wonderful and when I look at that person," she said. "I'm not even gonna be able to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18."

Despite their break up, Swift and Jonas both moved on and became on good terms again. Recently, the "Love Story" hitmaker liked the TikTok video showing Jonas changing the lyrics of "Much Better" during the Jonas Brothers' Las Vegas residency.

Currently, Swift is being linked to The 1975 frontman, Matty Healy, after he was spotted attending her Eras Tour concerts several times in the past month. They have also been seen together publicly several times since the dating rumors came out.
