Liam Payne's changing physiques over the years left fans concerned about his well-being, but his recent video reassured fans that he feels better than ever.

The One Direction member greeted his fans through a YouTube video Saturday, during which he also marked his nearly six-month sobriety following his 100-day stay in a rehabilitation facility in Louisiana. His "different" look was also reported by several news outlets who spotted him at the Silverstone racetrack a day before he uploaded the clip.

Liam Payne Looking Good After Rehab Stay

Payne surprised everyone in the 8-minute video as he addressed the story of his life after alcohol and how his time off helped him focus on his recovery.

According to the 29-year-old "Strip That Down" singer, he feels he has more of a grip on everything after undergoing rehabilitation and embracing his sobriety fully.

"I just needed to take a little bit of time out for myself actually because I kind of became somebody who I didn't really recognize anymore," he said. "And I'm sure you guys didn't either. I was in bad shape up until that point and I was really happy to kind of put a stopper to life and work."

Payne revealed he did not connect with the outside world throughout his 100 days of stay in the facility, making him feel somewhat scared to turn on his phone again when he ended his treatment.

Despite his notable return, he told fans that he still needs to work on little things and deal with them for himself. As for the moment he realized he had to start his recovery, Payne said that his visit to Dubai in January to attend a Hans Zimmer concert inspired him to enter his sobriety period.

Payne's most recent update came out a day after he was spotted having a chat with Cara Delevingne at the Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire for the F1 Grand Prix of Great Britain, with The Mirror noting that he looked different.

In March, he sparked plastic surgery rumors when he attended Louis Tomlinson's "All of Those Voices" documentary premiere in London. Fans were left confused and concerned about his appearance during the red carpet event, with some claiming that he probably underwent plastic or cosmetic surgery.

Meanwhile, some commenters said he might have joined the buccal fat removal trend to debut his chiseled face.

On the other hand, several plastic surgeons gave their two cents on the issue in their statements on Dr. Thomas Su and Dr. Ramtin Kassir noticed that Payne indeed looked more masculine due to his more-defined facial features.
