Christine McVie would have celebrated her 80th birthday, but even from beyond the grave, she has managed to gift her fans one last time.

According to reports, Rhino is celebrating the singer's birthday by dropping a previously unreleased song titled "Little Darlin."

The song was recorded back in 2004, and was intended to be included in her album "In the Meantime," but failed to make the official tracklist.

"When my aunt Christine McVie died unexpectedly last year, plans were already afoot for the re-release of this solo album, which is perhaps her most personal and intimate project," shared Dan Perfect, McVie's nephew.

The new song is just a taste for the "Songbird" singer's fans, who can most definitely expect a reissue of her 1984 self-titled album as well as "In The Meantime" in November.

Christine McVie's Legacy Lives On

Despite passing away so suddenly last year, McVie's legacy will live on through several posthumous releases.

"Chris and I had been working for some time on remixing the original tracks in Dolby Atmos, and Chris was excited and intrigued by this process, which was bringing fresh life and contemporaneity to the songs," Perfect continued.

"I dearly wish that she could have lived to see this re-release as she would have been delighted."

Fans can start pre-ordering the reissued album, which are slated to be released on Nov. 3 through this link. A CD and a vinyl of the albums will be sold.

Christine McVie Receives Tributes Again

According to reports, McVie's family are not the only ones who had something planned out on what would have been a milestone birthday.

The singer's long-time friend and former bandmate, Mick Fleetwood released an instrumental version of one of McVie's well-known and beloved songs, "Songbird."

"We cut it in April, and it turned out beautifully, but there was no plan yet to release it," Fleetwood said of the release.

"But when I heard about Christine's upcoming birthday, it felt like the right time to share this as a tribute to all the lovely music she created, both on her own and with Fleetwood Mac."

Despite not having anyone singing, the song still penetrated deep into the bones of Fleetwood Mac fans, as it included messages.

"For you, there will be no more crying. For you, the sun will be shining, and the songbirds keep singing, like they know the score. And I love you. I love you like never before. Like never before.

"As the songbird sings, now from the heavens, to you Christine, I wish you all the love in the world. But, most of all, I wish it from myself. I wish it from myself."
