Rapper Jeezy and his now-estranged wife Jeannie Mai are going through a tough time at the moment as it was reported that the two are getting a divorce after almost two years of marriage.

More recently, there have been insiders who claim that one of the main reasons why the pair decided to legally separate was because of their different opinions on family values.

According to a source who spoke with Entertainment Tonight, the TV personality and her rapper husband have had differences when it comes to "certain family values and expectations."

The insider added: "They had different views, and each felt like their needs weren't being completely met."

As of this writing, neither Jeannie Mai nor Jeezy has spoken out about the matter.

The musician is also asking for joint legal custody of their child named Monaco.

It appears that the proceedings won't be as lengthy compared to others as both of them reportedly have pre-nuptial agreements in place.

The split just came a few weeks after Jeannie Mai congratulated her husband for his memoir "Adversity for Sale: Ya Gotta Believe."
