Ed Sheeran is releasing three albums in 2023 - "Subtract," "Autumn Variations," and a Live Version of "Autumn Variations" live from his fans' home.

The original version of "Autumn Variations" will be released on Sept. 29, 2023.

Ed Sheeran 'Autumn Variations' Live Version Recording

According to Billboard, Ed Sheeran will be releasing three albums in 2023 as the live version of "Autumn Variations" will also be released sometime before 2023 ends.

In an Instagram post, Ed Sheeran revealed that he had recorded a "surprise secret live version" of "Autumn Variations" on various Sheerios living rooms in the United States.

"So I did some surprise pop up gigs in fans houses, secretly recording a live album of Autumn Variations where each song is recorded in a different fans living room, but all of it was a total surprise," he revealed in the video.

In the same video, Sheeran hopped on her fans' keyboard to perform a rendition of "Wake Me Up," a song from his album, "+."

"They had cats, friendship bracelets and some fruit drinks to start, but once I'd played the Autumn song I said take me on a tour, and when I went into her room I saw a piano," he described the fan's home. "She asked if I could play and I said 'not really but I kinda play on wake me up', so here I am playing Wake Me Up, for all the Plus fans out there. The fan living room live Autumn Variations album coming soon, proper album out 29th September go preorder you legends x."

Ed Sheeran 'Thinking Out Loud' Lawsuit Dropped

The news came on the heels of another triumphant win when the lawsuit of his "Thinking Out Loud" lawsuit was dropped by the accusers. (via Billboard)

The accussers have conceded pursuing their appeal on the already decided win for Sheeran. It was ruled by a jury that Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud," did not infringe on Marvin Gaye's 1972 hit "Let's Get It On."

The accusers, led by Ed Townsend's heirs, the co-writer of the song, eventually dropped their appeal on the decision. The reason why was not revealed to the public. It was withdrawn with prejudice, meaning the accusers could not file the said complaint at any point in the future.
