On New Year's Day, Jeremy Renner suffered from a near-death experience as he was involved in a tragic accident. More recently, the actor is now using it as an inspiration for his new music as he announced it on social media.

Taking to his official Instagram account, the actor/singer shared a what appeared to be an album cover of his new music.

In the caption, he wrote: "A collection of music we wrote about different milestones in my journey of recovery since Jan 1st this year."

The project is called "Love and Titanium" and he noted that the album has been painful and "ultimately cathartic" for him to create, but it is also "deeply healing.

"I hope I get the courage to share with you all," he concluded. (via Entertainment Weekly)

As of this writing, Renner has yet to unveil the official release date of his new album. He also never shared more details about the tracklist.

Jeremy Renner Previously Teased 'Love and Titanium'

In March of this year, Renner spoke with Diane Sawyer in an interview to give an update regarding his health condition.

At the time, he told viewers that he "lost a lot of flesh and bone" during his accident but he has since been refueled with "love and titanium."

For those who didn't know, Rener is also a musician aside from his work in the entertainment industry. He is a multi-instrumentalist and he writes his own music.

He previously dropped two EPs in 2020 titled "The Medicine" and "Live for Now" respectively.

What Happened to Jeremy Renner?

Per the outlet, the famous actor was involved in a serious snowplow accident. He sustained life-threatening injuries in the process as he was trying to rescue his nephew.

In total, he broke over 30 bones. He was immediately taken to a hospital through a helicopter and he spent two weeks in the medical facility before being discharged.

Earlier this week, the actor spoke with CNN to share an update regarding his health, saying he feels very "blessed" and "lucky" to walk around and live his life.

"I'm very, very clear. My life is really lean, if that makes sense. There's no fat in my life anymore. I don't have time for that. So, there's something really beautiful about having that superpower," he added.
