Britney Spears was seen peacefully enjoying a bowl of soup when ten sheriffs abruptly removed her from the premises before her conservatorship started.

Back in 2008, the "Baby One More Time" singer experienced two psychiatric evaluations that were not voluntary while she was in a relationship with Adnan Ghalib.

At the onset of the New Year, 2008 was tumultuous for the pop princess. Her behavior had become increasingly erratic, and she was under scrutiny from mental health professionals.

On top of this, her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, had sought to take back custody of their one-year-old son Jayden James; when Britney refused to comply, she was hospitalized in a psych ward.

After being taken to the hospital on January 31, 2008, Britney's situation quickly spiraled out of control. The following day, Jamie Spears was given temporary conservatorship of the mom of two to oversee her mental health. This arrangement lasted until November 2021.

Britney's recently released book, "The Woman In Me," reveals that she underwent a turbulent period before the conservatorship but denies any wrongdoing.

Despite this tumultuous time, Britney insists that her behavior does not constitute criminal transgression.

When the cops came to take her away for a second psych evaluation, Britney recalls that her mom, Lynne, was behaving oddly before she noticed the helicopters hovering above their home.

Britney wrote in the book, "Suddenly there was a SWAT team of what seemed like 20 cops in my house. 'What the f--k did I do' I kept shouting. 'I didn't do anything!'"

Adnan, a 50-year-old consultant for safety and protection, was given the chance to talk about what he saw when asked by The Sun.

According to Britney's memoir, she had been at a sleepover with her cousin and two friends when Lynne - her mother - contacted her about police searching for her.

Adnan's story is that he and Britney had just come back from a two-day trip to Palm Springs.

According to him, they went to her house and found Lynne already waiting there and found it odd when Lynne visited Britney since, only weeks prior, she had attempted to get her placed into a psychiatric ward.

He stated: "Britney asked what was happening, and Lynne was like, 'I just came to see you.'

"Britney asked me to make her favorite tomato soup and take it upstairs."

"She hoped her mom would leave, but unbeknown to us, Lynne had called welfare services to commit her daughter."

In her recently released memoir, Britney Spears dives deep into her relationship with an unnamed figure, Adnan.

Even though he worked as a paparazzi photographer when they met, what stood out to her was his gentlemanly attitude and how he would protect her from overly aggressive photographers.

Adnan vividly remembered when he stepped into Britney's home and noticed something was off.

"When I brought up a bowl of soup," Adnan recalled, "Britney immediately asked me what was happening." Their relationship had suddenly come to an end following her conservatorship.

"All I could tell her was, 'You are right, something's up.'"

"When I went downstairs, a psychiatrist or official turned up out of nowhere and said, 'I need to speak to Brit.'"

"I said, 'No, you don't. This is her house.'"

"The woman gave me a piece of paper, which claimed there was cause for concern for Britney over erratic behavior in the last 24 hours with a witness note."

Attempting to defend Britney, Adnan pleaded her case to the woman, who ultimately sided with Lynne's claim that Britney was displaying erratic behavior. In response, he rushed upstairs to apprise his sister of the situation.

"She said to me, 'Don't let them take me away,'" he explained. "She didn't want me to say anything wrong about her mom.

"But she said,' promise that they won't take me away.'"

Suddenly, Adnan heard a loud pounding at his bedroom door. To his surprise, it was the sheriff.

"I put my foot up against the door, opened it partially, and asked, 'Can I help you?'"

"They said, 'We're here to escort Britney to the hospital.'"

"I said they needed to leave before things went sideways, but they threatened to arrest me for impeding an investigation."

"I went to push the door, but I didn't know at least another ten armed sheriffs were pushing back, who then surrounded the bed."

"Britney was sat calmly on the bed eating her soup. She calmly said: 'It's OK, babe, let them in.'

"I swear there may have been as many as 15 of them."

"Britney just had a blank stare and was quiet, which I knew meant she understood something bad was happening."

Adnan recounts the time he witnessed Britney becoming distraught when she was placed in a gurney. He says he could only watch helplessly as the scene unfolded before him.

"We both begged them not to strap her in, saying we could drive to the hospital, and it didn't have to go down like that," he said.

"An officer just snapped, 'This is exactly how it will go down.'"

"I watched them wrestle, pick her up, push her down, and strap her into the gurney with leather straps."

"She was terrified, panic-stricken, and screaming, 'What are you doing? Where am I going? Why are you doing this.'"

"She kept pleading with them to stop. It tore me up inside, and I felt so helpless. She was not a threat to herself or anyone else, and it broke my heart to see that."

After being taken away in an ambulance, Adnan recounted his experience at UCLA Medical Center.

He stated that Britney's father, mother, and best friend were all present.

While they all seemed to be trying to make sense of the situation, none of Adnan's queries were receiving any response.

When Adnan was allowed into Britney's room a few hours later, all he heard were his parents saying, "Poor child."

When he entered the room, to his surprise, the first words out of Britney's mouth were, "Are you OK?"

She was still in utter shock and couldn't comprehend why she had been incarcerated.

The desperation in her voice as Britney pleaded with Adnan to "get her out of there" was unmistakable. As a result, he reportedly had no choice the next day but to alert authorities and have the Los Angeles Superior Court intervene.

Desperate in her brokenness, Britneypleaded with me to help free her from the confines of UCLA Medical Center.

Fortunately, after due consideration by medical staff, it was decided that she was not a threat to herself or anyone else and consequently released within a week.

Nevertheless, despite this reprieve from hospitalization, Jamie and attorney Andrew Wallet initiated a permanent conservatorship for her in October 2008.
