In an email from Britney Spears' lawyer to the lawyer representing Jamie Spears, numerous accusations have been leveled against her father.

This move could spark a possible settlement negotiation - unfortunately, Jamie's legal representative wasn't entertained by the notion due to its late introduction.

Sources have informed TMZ that when Mathew Rosengart wrote to Jamie, he recognized the individual's ill health and proposed financially compensating Britney as a means of settling their legal dispute.

With this in mind, Rosengart suggested an undisclosed amount be paid to her.

Rosengart's legal quandary begins with Jamie, who allegedly authorized the illegal monitoring of Britney and her phone. Unfortunately for Rosengart, he never acted on the matter, so the statute of limitations has lapsed. Additionally, Jamie's attorney has reportedly refuted any claims of illegal surveillance being involved.

Despite a demand from his father, Britney will not be paying the legal fees associated with her conservatorship.

Documents show that this request by the father, Jaime, was proposed to be withdrawn one year ago in exchange for dropping claims against him made by Rosengart; however, the offer was rejected.

A year has passed since the dispute between Britney and Jamie began, and Rosengart is willing to discuss a settlement.

The trial over the claims made by Britney's former manager will occur in May. The outlet have heard that there may be evidence presented which could put Britney in a difficult position.

Unluckily for Rosengart, some of his most damaging claims will not be considered as they exceed the statute of limitations.

Furthermore, it has been recognized that certain costs he is disputing have already been approved by the judge overseeing her conservatorship.

Who Is Andrew Wallet?

Another lawyer of Britney Spears is being the hot topic on social media, and it's for the wrong reasons.

As detailed by Britney Spears' memoir, "The Woman In Me," Wallet was given an annual salary of $426,000 for his work as her co-conservator.

A conservatorship had been put into place back in 2008 due to the singer's mental health condition and under the authority of her father, Jamie Spears. After 11 years, Wallet eventually resigned at the end of March 2019.

Britney Spears, as revealed by her memoir, she paid her former co-conservator Andrew Wallet an annual salary of $426,000.

This payment came under scrutiny by Britney's attorney, Adam Streisand, who argued that at the time of his appointment, Wallet lacked enough experience to manage the singer's $40m estate effectively.

On the other hand, it was said that with Wallet's involvement, there was a certain level of "stability and leadership" brought to Britney's career.

Britney Spears candidly disclosed her financial arrangement with former co-conservator Andrew Wallet and the effects of it on her life as part of the book.

At the start of the conservatorship, it was reported that there were no funds or cash equivalents available. However, since Andrew Wallet was appointed to manage the situation, the estate grew by $20 million.

In California, it is legally permissible for conservators to receive "reasonable" pay.

Nevertheless, as the #FreeBritney movement began gaining momentum in recent years, the man responsible for this position soon disappeared and departed from his role in early 2019.
