Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney's younger sister, is trading the glitz and glamour of Hollywood for a chance to battle the harsh conditions of the Australian outback.

It is rumored that she has signed up as a contestant on "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!" which will be filming its 23rd series in rural New South Wales, Australia, beginning November 19th, per The Mirror.

In her recent autobiography, aptly titled "My Woman In Me," Britney Spears divulged some of her unhappy feelings towards her younger sister Jamie Lynn. In it, she admitted to having asked for assistance while placed in a residential treatment center against her will - a request that Jamie Lynn allegedly rejected.

In her 2022 memoir "Things I Should Have Said: Family, Fame, and Figuring it Out," singer-songwriter Jaime Lynn gives an honest account of the struggles she faced throughout her life.

An insider commented: "Jamie Lynn's life has been filled with tribulations relating to her sister, Britney. She gives an honest account of these issues in her biography."

"It will be insightful for readers to gain insight into Jamie Lynn's life and the contentious conservatorship. Furthermore, people are intrigued to know whether the two sisters have reconciled or not."

In the last few months, Britney's attitude towards her sister has fluctuated between antipathy and affection.

Initially, she made hostile comments about her family when struggling with the conclusion of her conservatorship, but then sporadically extended a hand of peace on social media.

In the days leading up to her conservatorship's end and immediately afterward, the "Baby One More Time" singer had strong words for each of her family members.

However, in recent times, she has occasionally taken to social media in an attempt to extend a public olive branch.

This summer, Britney made a surprising statement - she said she had gone to visit Jamie Lynn during the filming of her "Zoey 102" revival movie. This was unexpected as many people thought most of the movie had already been shot on the East Coast.

TMZ reported last month that Britney was fully supportive of her sister appearing on Dancing With The Stars. However, some of Britney's fans responded less positively to the news. These critics accused Jamie Lynn of attempting to take advantage of her elder sister's fame.

Britney wasn't taken off guard when she heard about her sister joining the show; instead, she was said to be quite "excited" for Jamie Lynn. Unfortunately, only two weeks after her arrival on the show, Jamie Lynn got voted off.

Although many of Britney's fans had promised to vote against her to get her eliminated from the competition, she still managed to receive a strong rating from the judging panel.

The future of the reconciliation between Britney and her sister Jamie Lynn is uncertain, as well as her attempt to bridge the divide with her mother Lynne, which seemingly did not work out.
