AC/DC Touring Plans For 2024 Spoiled by a German Mayor?

Last month, fans were shocked and happy that AC/DC was finally reunited on stage during their performance at the Power Trip Festival in California as it was the first time they performed again after seven years.

Since their show in October, many people have been hoping for the legendary musicians to tour all over the world for them to hear some of their most iconic tracks throughout their decades-long career.

Despite fans' wishes, the group has yet to announce anything since their Power Trip Festival appearance, but that doesn't mean it's completely impossible for them to have a reunion tour as there have been several sources and spoilers from other people which hinted their big comeback on the big stage.

AC/DC Tour 2024 Spoiled by a German Mayor?

The mayor of Munich, Germany, Dieter Reiter, spoke with Bayerischer Rundfunk where he revealed that the band will allegedly perfom at the Olympic Stadium in their city on June 12, 2024.

Apparently, the mayor had no idea that the yet-to-be-announced concert is a secret as of now, so he later clarified: "I didn't know it was supposed to be a secret." (via Blabbermouth)

Reiter wasn't the only one who spoiled AC/DC's major comeback as Brazilian journalist Jose Norberto Flesch also revealed that the band is among the lineup at the Rock in Rio Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on September 2024.

If ever the rumors were true, this would be the first time the group will get together again for a massive tour since 2016, because according to Loudwire, Axl Rose had to step in for Brian Johnson when he was warned by medical professionals about the possibility of total hearing loss if ever he would continue performing.

AC/DC Allegedly Booked 10 US Stadium Tours for 2024 Concert

According to a user on Reddit, Dean Delray's podcast "Let There Be Talk" shared the rumors that the host heard during his time on Power Trip Festival.

The host alleged on the episode of his show that the group will be touring this 2024 for their 50th anniversary.

Although he clarified that there was no confirmation as it was only "rumblings" that he heard, he also added that allegedly, the band will perform in "maybe 10 stadiums" in the United States next year.

Despite the speculations and rumors about AC/DC, the band has yet to confirm anything as of this writing.
