Taylor Swift has reached a new milestone yet again, cementing her legacy on Billboard and the music industry as a force to reckon with.
According to Chart Data on X (formerly known as Twitter), the Grammy Award-winner is the first living artist in history to simultaneously chart five albums in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 in the same week.
The only other artist who achieved such a feat previously was Prince; the "Raspberry Berret" singer's albums included "The Very Best of Prince" at No. 2, followed by the "Purple Rain" soundtrack in 3rd place, "The Hits/The B-Sides" at 4th, "Ultimate" at No. 6, and "1999" at No. 7, noted reports.
Meanwhile, Swift's albums that sit comfortably on the top 10 are the following: "Midnights" at No.3, "Folklore" at No. 5, "Lover" at No. 6," and "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" at No. 10.
Taylor Swift Rules Over Billboard 200
While this is the first time the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer has reached this milestone, it seems like it is a long time coming, as several of her albums have been lingering and peaking on the Billboard 200 since May of this year.
According to reports, back in May, Swift had three top 10 songs on the music chart: "Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions" at No. 3, "Midnights" at No. 4, and "Lover" at No. 10.
Aside from her top 10 albums, she also had several other releases included in the music chart: "Folklore," "1989," "Reputation," "Red (Taylor's Version)," "Evermore," "Fearless (Taylor's Version)," and finally "Speak Now. "
Since the time of the article's publication though, Swift has released two new re-recorded albums, "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" and "1989 (Taylor's Version)."
This might have contributed to the peak in music streaming and demand for the singer, which resulted in the new achievement.
Taylor Swift Received Support, Praise
Following the news of the "You Belong With Me" singer caused fans to laud her online, and express their excitement and support.
Some have begun calling Swift "the music industry." While others marveled at her influence and success.
"This is crazy. usually, an artist has to die for something like this to happen," one wrote.
"Having five albums in the top 10 Billboard 200 is no kids play. That's Legendary."
"She's truly a princess, she deserves all the accolades, bravo, Taylor Swift."
