Did Ariana Grande just share hints that she is now working on her new music?

Grande seemingly took a break from music as she has yet to drop a new album since her 2020 "Positions." She has been busy over the past years - from her marriage to Dalton Gomez and their divorce to the launch of her own makeup line.

After a long wait, her fans spotted clues that she might share new music soon.

Ariana Grande's Music Comeback Finally Happening?

On her Instagram page, the "thank u, next" singer uploaded a carousel of photos and muted videos showing a professional recording studio. Grande can be seen sitting and editing audio files on a computer.

The post, shared on Thursday, December 7, did not include a caption. But her colleagues and friends dropped comments that suggested her nearing a comeback.

SZA wrote, "Oh this bout to eat."

"Love you sweetheart, no one is ready, I'm so freaking proud of you!! This project is so freaking special!!!" another wrote.

Ryan Tymensky shared, "There is no place like HOME. We are READY."

Instead of solo projects, Grande collaborated with different artists over the past few years, including "Die For You" with The Weeknd and "Santa Can You Hear Me" with Kelly Clarkson.

In August, she dropped the 10-year anniversary edition of her debut album, "Yours Truly."

In addition, Grande is gearing up after working on "Wicked," where she met her beau, Ethan Slater.

"[Wicked] is going to have every piece of me, every minute, every ounce of my heart, my time, my soul, my everything that I can give it," she said in May 2022. "My hands are quite full with a lot of other 'thrillifying' work at the moment. I am spending all of my time with Glinda, I just was not ready."

Ariana Grande Responds to a Social Media User

In 2022, a fan commented on a video of herself promoting r.e.m beauty brand's product, Sweetener Concealer and told her, "pls remember you're a singer."

Grande immediately responded by writing, "i have actually never felt more at home in my voice. or like more of a singer."

She also addressed her break on her brand's YouTube channel.

"This is a question I'm nervous to answer, but I feel like I want to have a little bit of transparency and honesty with my fans. The truth is, I have not began an album. I know-I hear it through the grapevine that you have a lot of theories and expectations in that department, but after Positions, [I] was not ready to start another album yet," the singer said.
