Just before 2024 started, rumors of Toni Braxton's marriage with Birdman emerged and the singer wasted no time letting the rumors run wild.
Toni Braxton Married? Birdman Rumors Debunked
According to an Instagram post that Toni Braxton had shared on her account, no wedding ceremony recently took place between her and Birdman.
"My dear friend @birdman and I are not married...never been married. We are both single," Braxton wrote in the caption of her post. The "Another Sad Love Song" singer posted a screenshot of a congratulatory post of her and Birdman and their alleged marriage.
"#FakeNews," Toni Braxton said about her rumored Birdman marriage.
Reportedly, Toni Braxton and Birdman had a private ceremony in Mexico to tie the knot in their on-and-off relationship.
As the claims run wild, even Tamar Braxton, Toni's sister, was lured into the fake news. She said that since the reports went out, she had been blasting her sister's phone to know the real truth behind the Toni Braxton and Birdman marriage rumors.
Meanwhile, Toni Braxton fans lauded the singer for dispelling the rumors quickly.
"Get them fake news reporters right on together!" a user commented.

Toni Braxton, Birdman Relationship Explained
According to HiphopDX, Toni Braxton and Birdman have been in an on-again, off-again relationship in the past few years.
In 2016, the couple started dating as rumors of their relationship emerged. In the "Braxton Family Values," she revealed that the rapper was an "undercover romantic."
Tamar also confirmed in an episode of "The Wendy Williams Show" in 2016 that she now calls Birdman her "brother-in-law." However, Toni Braxton and Birdman marriage rumors have sporadically emerged once in a while but it's either never confirmed or was shut down.
As of this writing, Birdman has not yet issued any statement about the said rumor emerging while other fans of the two remain skeptical of Toni's debunking, still hoping that the two have finally tied the knot.
