Complex promised it and they made good on their word. The Migos' trap musical Bando is here!

Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset star in the 17-minute short film that highlights the group's humble beginnings and their rise to fame.

The clip features several of the trio's mixtape hits including the title track, "Contraband," and "Birds."

All in all, the film captures the trials and tribulations they had to go through to make it to the top of the game including an early time when they were performing at small clubs and not sold out venues.

Prior to the short film's premiere, Quavo shed some light on the group's conception saying, ""We had a different ambition, we had a different way and we always got money. We always trend set. And we had some people down. I was down. But we came back up all together and all together we winning. This is how it all started."

Check out Bando after the jump and at Complex.

Last month, former Love And Hip-Hop: Atlanta star singer K. Michelle premiered her Rebellious Soul: K. Michelle the Musical through VH1.

The 30-minute "hip hopera" directed by Golden Globe-nominated actor Idris Elba, centered on nine tracks from the outspoken songstress' debut album including "When I Get a Man," "Hate on Her," "V.S.O.P." and "Can't Raise a Man." In addition to Jay Z, Migos and K. Michelle join R. Kelly and Beyonce as artists who have used their music in film.

Back in 2005, R. Kelly captivated fans with the release of his Trapped in the Closet series which went on to release 33 chapters.

In 2001, Beyonce starred in Carmen: A Hip Hopera, a musical film produced for television by MTV.
