Suzanne Somers' husband, Alan Hamel, revealed the hair-raising and "very strange things" that have been happening after the singer-actress' death.

A few months after her breast cancer had recurred, Somers died peacefully at their California home in the wee hours of October 15, 2023. Sources told a news outlet that prior to her death, she and her family had been seeking treatment for her breast cancer but failed, so she was ultimately brought back home.

Suzanne Somers' Husband Experiences Strange Things Since The Loss

In an interview with Page Six on Tuesday, January 16, Hamel opened up about the afterlife and the signs Somers has been seemingly giving him since her death.

"Three things happened the same day that was very strange: a hummingbird flew into our house and made the rounds in the kitchen, and the living room and the dining room," he disclosed.

Hamel added that the bird hovered in front of their frame before landing on top and "staying there."

He was able to take a photo of the moment before the hummingbird flew away.

There was also reportedly a time when the fireplace started by itself and some music suddenly played.

Hamel also told the news outlet he could feel Somers' presence every night before shutting his eyes to sleep.

"I'm a believer now that there is an after life. I'm convinced of it," he continued. "I think there's something we don't understand. I think there's a plane somewhere... after we discard our bodies. We still have our soul. I think our soul is energy. The soul must go somewhere and do something."

Hamel shared he mostly feels his late wife's presence when he goes into their bedroom alone. After interacting with Somers' presence, he goes back to hang out with the other family members again.

Even their grandchildren reportedly felt the same.

While Hamel expressed his hope that everything was true, he also declared how things have made their grieving process easier.

Aside from the recent interview, Hamel reportedly had a conversation with Somers about the afterlife.

"We joked about it. Before she was sick. Before the last chapter. We joked about when one of us passed, it would likely be me because I'm 10 years older," he went on.
