    Apollo Nida has hardly tried to hide his overwhelming dislike of almost ex-wife, Phaedra Parks. Fans of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" have watched as the couple married, had two sons and then abruptly crashed and burned. Nida was arrested for a slew of financial crimes including Identity theft and bank fraud last January and that was the beginning of the end for these two. To be fair, Nida was an ex-con when Parks married him several years ago, so she had a bit of an idea what he was capable of.

  • 911 Tapes Released in Marysville School Shooting

    Nearly three weeks ago, 15-year-old Jaylen Fryberg opened fire on five of his closest friends in the cafeteria in Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Washington state, killing all but one of them, Nate Hatch. Zoe Galasso died at the scene, as did Fryberg of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Over the last few weeks, Gia Soriano, Shaylee Chuckulnaskit and Andrew Fryberg have all died from their injuries, leaving the community in a continued state of grief. Police decided to release some of the 911 tapes from calls made from those close to the scene on that fateful morning so we can all get an idea of how traumatic it was.

    Kim Kardashian set out to break the internet this week by releasing a series of fully naked photos that are a part of a photo shoot that she recently did for the Winter 2014 issue of Paper and the response has been exactly what you would expect it to be. Kardashian's nakedness has been a trending story for days on end, with people weighing in left and right on whether or not it's time for her to put on her clothes and do something of substance. Surprisingly someone that isn't happy about the photo shoot is Kris Jenner.

    NBC is sure working hard to get in good with the royal family. First the network scored an exclusive interview last summer with Pippa Middleton, and that went so well that Kate Middleton's sister is now said to be in contention for a spot with "The Today Show" as a lifestyles correspondent. Now we are hearing that "Today" is also working hard to try and secure the first joint American interview with Middleton and her husband, Prince William. We told you the other day that the young couple is planning to travel to the States in a few weeks and will be spending time in New York City. There is also a pretty good chance that little Prince George will be traveling with them, and it is an opportunity that NBC is dying to take full advantage of. ABC is also supposedly vying for a similar interview, but because of Pippa's connection with "Today," it seems more likely that they would agree to grant that morning show their first interview.

    Many years ago, Kirk Cameron was a beloved 80's sitcom star that was famous for his role on "Growing Pains." Cameron has a new film, "Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas" that will begin a limited two-week run tomorrow. His goal is to put Christ back into Christmas and Cameron believes that mothers and wives in particular, play a huge role in creating "joy" for everyone around them.   • Richard Simmons Reportedly in Hiding While Suffering from Depression, Physical Ailments

    Have you noticed that Richard Simmons seems to have dropped off the radar? Think about it: The fitness guru usually turns up in support of some charity event in his tank top and short-shorts and we are all momentarily amused. Then there are the multitude of people whom he has helped with weight problems and self-acceptance, usually a new video or workout is available to keep them plugging along. Unfortunately, Simmons has been MIA for the majority of 2014, and it took until now for it to really click. TMZ is reporting that Simmons is suffering from a knee injury that will ultimately require him to have his left knee replaced. A source close to Simmons claims he is terrified of the surgery, but without it doctors have told him he will never exercise again. The fitness expert has apparently let the fear overwhelm him to the point of inactivity. Rather than take the necessary steps to heal his body, he has stayed hidden, growing more depressed as time goes on.

    For only about a week has 1 World Trade Center been officially open for business, and already a heart-stopping crisis has been averted. It takes a special kind of bravery to choose to wash the windows of the 104-story building, and for Juan Lizama, 41, and Juan Lopez, 33, yesterday, Nov. 12 was business as usual. At least, until 12:42 p.m., when the slack in their scaffolding became uneven and collapsed, leaving them dangling. Within minutes the two men found themselves trapped in almost a completely vertical position between the 68th and 69th floors. Thankfully, this story had a happy ending: Both men have been released from the hospital and are safely at home this morning.

Instead of distancing itself from the family, it has actually supported Shannon's children, who have been devastated by the turn of events. It seems there has been a new rumor nearly ever day, but Shannon has opted to stay quiet. Until now. "Entertainment Tonight" managed to score a full, sit-down, explosive new interview with Shannon that is scheduled to air tonight, and she has attempted to use this opportunity to tell her side of the story. Unfortunately, while putting to rest the notion that McDaniel actually fathered her daughter Lauryn, Shannon reveals that the real father of Lauryn and her sister Jessica is also a sex offender!

  • Philae Lander Touches Down on Comet, Harpoons Not Properly Secured to Surface

    A European spacecraft robot named Philae made history today as the 220-pound lander successfully touched down on the surface of a comet, as both hurled through space at 41,000 mph. Philae had separated from Rosetta, the mothership, and researchers spent seven extremely tense hours waiting for a signal indicating that Philae had reached its destination. The European Space Agency's celebration was short-lived, though, as it became apparent that there might be a problem with the landing. The plan was for Philae to gently set itself down on to the comet's uncertain surface and fire two harpoons into it, securing the lander so it could successfully complete a variety of scientific experiments.

    While Tori Spelling has managed to keep herself working in the entertainment industry, one way or another, her younger brother has taken a completely different path in his adult life. Randy Spelling did an interview recently for Oprah: Where Are They Now?, and it seems he has really embraced a more normal lifestyle. While Randy was raised in a 123-room mansion known as Spelling Manor, his scaled-back, normal life in Portland, Oregon, seems to suit him just fine these days. Randy explained to Oprah: "My life is really different from how I grew up. It's definitely more quiet and more simple. I am a husband, I'm a father of two amazing girls. We do a lot of cooking. I mean, 90 percent of the food that we eat is all home-cooked. Would it have been nice to have been left a whole lot of money? Yes, things happen the way they need to, and my life right now might look very different if I had $10 million sitting in the bank. So, I had to get my wings burned a little bit and fall to learn how to just live rather normally." He also works as a popular life coach, which is more than a little ironic considering his sister's need for drama and chaos. Randy appears to be the more fully evolved of the two, and while he explains that he and Tori are not as close as he would like them to be, he manages not to say an even slightly negative thing about her. Randy simply points out that his sister is juggling four kids, a husband and a career in the spotlight and how it is a lot for her to handle.

    When Khloé Kardashian posted a meme to her Instagram account Tuesday, Nov. 11, we have to wonder what she was thinking. The image featured Khloé with her sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian all wearing white. It was captioned, "The only KKK ever to let black men in," and Khloé's comment was one word: "True." That is all it took to light up a debate that is still growing strong today. Making any comparison or reference to the Ku Klux Klan, an extremist white supremacist group, is thought to be in really bad taste. Khloé's post grabbed more than 405,000 likes and 26,000 comments in only two hours. While many of her supporters suggested that people just lighten up a little and see the humor in the actual reference, an equal number were offended by the comment. Many people believe the KKK never belongs as a punchline in any joke. Others totally got the fact that both Khloé and Kim have caught heat for only dating dark-skinned men.

  • Scott Peterson's Mistress Amber Frey Reportedly Hasn't Gotten Life Together After Testifying

    It has been a long time since we have heard the name "Amber Frey." It may ring a distant bell for many because she was Scott Peterson's mistress. On Christmas Eve 2002, Peterson's pregnant wife Laci went missing in a case that dominated national headlines. Frey came forward pretty quickly once Peterson's face was plastered all over the place because she had been seeing him on the side. At the time Frey had no idea he was married or expecting a child, but went to police pretty quickly. It was eventually her testimony that helped prosecutors to not only convict Peterson in the murders of his wife and unborn son, but also to secure the death penalty against him. At the time of Peterson's 2004 conviction, Frey was a single mother working as a massage therapist, and so she decided to write a book about her side of the nightmare. While it landed on the bestseller list, Frey's life did not improve as one might have hoped. She is currently 38 and raising two children on her own. In a recent exclusive with Radar Online, her father, Ron Frey, claims his daughter has never been the same after dating Peterson.

  • 'LHHH' Nia Riley Splits from Soulja Boy, Who's Been Spotted with Karrine Steffans

    It looks like another couple from "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" has bit the dust. After years of an on/off relationship, Nia Riley has finally gotten tired of trying to convince Soulja Boy to commit. Rumors of a split started circulating last week, and after Soulja posted a photo of himself with former fling Karrine Steffans online, Riley stepped up to confirm the breakup. Obviously this is one of those couples who flip-flops a lot, but maybe they are better off apart. Generally, if you spend years debating whether or not a relationship can work, that is your biggest sign that it is probably not going to. Ironically, on the last episode of "LHHH," Riley was getting ready to move in with Soulja but he found an excuse to postpone it. He was about to venture out on a two-week tour and he claimed not to want Riley in his house alone without security. He claimed it was a security issue and not a case of cold feet. We have to wonder about that now that we know they have split just a few months after the filming of that scene.

  • NBC Debates Whether to Fire Dr. Nancy Snyderman for Breaking Ebola Quarantine

    Up until recently, Dr. Nancy Snyderman was heralded as one of the top medical staffers employed by NBC. The network sent her to cover the Ebola virus in West Africa because viewers had come to trust her judgment, so it made sense for her to be one of the leaders when it came to educating NBC's audience. When Snyderman and her team returned, she claimed they were going to voluntarily quarantine themselves for 21 days just to be extra careful, said the "Hopewell Valley News." When Snyderman was spotted out grabbing take-out less than a week later in New Jersey, said the "Princeton Packet," the fallout was pretty explosive, and now weeks later the network's honchos are divided over whether or not to fire her for breaking her Ebola quarantine. At first NBC announced that Snyderman and her team would be given a few extra weeks off and return in November. Execs were hoping that a bit of time off would put distance between Snyderman and the scandal that had surrounded her.
