"He who finds a wife finds a good thing" is the proclamation found in the book of Proverbs and Gospel singer Israel Houghton has found his good thing in Adrienne Bailon. The Real co-host took to Instagram to announce the official engagement and show off her ring bling.

BET shared the wonderful news on Twitter of the former Cheetah Girl's official "yes" to the marriage proposal from her "It's Not Over" beau, Houghton.

As the Twitter post indicated it was while spending what looked like a romantic fairytale weekend in Paris that the couple agreed to become husband and wife, and they shared the news by photos and videos of their trip with their followers on Instagram.

A photo captured of 32-year-old Bailon and 45-year-old Houghton sharing a "French kiss" by the Eiffel Tower was shared on Bailon's Instagram according to Us Magazine, followed by another snippet video of the talk show host showing off her ring, while a mellow jazz groove played in the background.

Houghton also shared the same video snippet on his Instagram captioned with a heartfelt message professing his love and support for his new fiancée and giving all the glory to God.

"I have seen and felt the essence of Gods grace through the life, the kindness and the courage of this woman," captioned Houghton. "I've seen her attacked, lied about, wrongfully accused, mocked, laughed at, and misunderstood. But, I've also seen the shining example of the eagle she is that rises above the cacophony of the noise of ignorants- I'm learning from her example. ..She said yes. Thanks Be To God. Thank you@adriennebailon for graciously loving me," he added.

Bailon has experienced the backlash of her former relationship and breakup with Rob Kardashian, followed by the more recent engagement to producer Lenny Santiago, which ended just seven months after announcing the news on her daytime talk show, The Real, as reported by People.

She has also faced the scrutiny of being called a home-wrecker after announcing she and Houghton were dating back in April, only a few short months after his divorce from Meleasa Houghton, whom he'd been married to for well over 20 years according to BET.

But that didn't stop Houghton from seeing beyond all the negativity and ultimately putting a ring on it. According to a past Instagram post, he could've been inspired by the love and union of friends #MrandMrsMera whose wedding he and Bailon attended just two short weeks ago.

Congratulations!
