Born on October 24th 1986, Aubrey Drake Graham, better known by his stage name of Drake, has been making quite the name for himself ever since he was just 15 years old! That's when he played Jimmy Brooks on the Canadian TV Show 'Degrassi: The Next Generation.
But it wasn't until he left acting to start his music career when things really started to pick up for him. And in 2010, he released his debut studio album 'Thank Me Later' which immediately blew up! Seriously, the album was so popular that it debuted at the number one spot on the U.S. Billboard 200 and was quickly certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America shortly after.
And since his debut album, Drake has been one of the most sought out artists in the music scene. Seriously, the man has worked with everyone like Future, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and The Weeknd just to name a few.
Another big thing that happened in 2010 was when Drake started his annual OVO Fest. The OVO Fest is an annual music festival set in Toronto. There have been so many massive performers at OVO Fest like Eminem, Jay Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Nas, J. Cole, The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky and Kendrick Lamar just to name a few.
