Kesha is determined to vindicate herself on the sexual assault charges she first accused Dr. Luke of back in 2014. Now, Kesha will reportedly get help from one of her famous friends, Lady Gaga.

Kesha’s legal team thinks that a text exchange between her and Lady Gaga could be crucial to their case. Actually, the “Paparazzi” singer had already previously provided a “heavily-redacted, four page spreadsheet” of the text messages. According to reports, she has now agreed to produce un-redacted copies of the said documents.

Lawyers of Dr. Luke, whose real name is Lukasz Sebastian Gottwald, have previously cited that the edited documents that Lady Gaga first submitted proved that she and Kesha have something to hide. Now, Gaga’s legal team is firing back that the record producer’s team is trying to manipulate the truth.

According to the singer’s spokesman, the opposing team also attempted to draw the attention of the press to their case by exaggerating Lady Gaga’s role in the suit. They also accused her of dodging reasonable requests.

The spokesman revealed that Gaga “has provided all the relevant information in her possession and is at most an ancillary witness in this process." A lawyer for the singer confirms that his client has always been happy to accommodate any request from the court according to Independent UK.

In a statement, attorney Oryn Snyder stated, “Lady Gaga has always been prepared to testify so long as reasonable limitations were established. That has now been accomplished.”

Lady Gaga’s name has been connected to the case against Dr. Luke even before it was revealed that she can provide evidence with regards to Kesha’s claims. Last year, Gaga came to the “Tic Tok” singer’s defense after she was accused of trumping up the charges against Dr. Luke reports Rolling Stone.

The “Born This Way” singer also previously revealed that she was also raped by an older man who worked in the music industry. Lady Gaga denied that the said man was Dr. Luke.
