Vince Staples has launched GoFundMe campaign for all his haters to donate money and keep him out of the spotlight.

The rapper has set a $2 million goal for his retirement fund.

Staples has last year released his second studio album called Big Fish Theory which received critical and commercial acclaim. The record became one of 2017's best hip-hop album, rivaling Kendrick Lamar's equally phenomenal fourth studio album Damn.

"First and foremost, I hope you're having a great day. I really do," the "Yeah Right" rapper addressed the haters in a video on the fundraising page. "Second, we've gotten a lot of complaints about our recent show performances, energy on stage, production choice. I think one person said it sounds like we're rapping on robot video game beats. We'd like to apologize for that."

Apparently, a couple of hip-hop fans have been trashing the rapper's performance in some of his live shows. This prompted him to just give up on making music and be a private citizen.

"You can decide to donate to the cause of $2 million, which will allow me to shut the f*** up forever and you will never hear from me again," he added. "No songs, interviews, no anything."

On the GoFundMe campaign's description, he wrote that he will use the $2 million retirement fund to move to Palmdale, buy a Honda, buy a puppy, and pay for a "year's supply of soups for the homies locked down."

The fundraising still has a long way to go because, as of this writing, only 94 people have contributed money to the rapper's retirement fund. He has so far raised $1,229 less than a day after the campaign went up.

His ardent fans, however, flooded the comments section with love and support. They said that they will not donate money to the fundraiser because they do not want the rapper to stop making good music. A few people who also attended some of his shows argued that his performances were top-notch.

Even if Staples retire from the music industry today, it would be impossible for haters to stop hearing his name or his music. The rapper has produced an extensive discography and has made a dent in the hip-hop industry.

Recently, he also joined Lamar and other hip-hop artists in the groundbreaking Black Panther: The Album, the soundtrack of Marvel's latest box office hit starring Chadwick Boseman.

He also received his first RIAA certification last year for the song "Norf Norf," which means that the single has sold more than 500,000 units.

In an interview with LA Weekly, the 24-year-old said that he does want to take a break. He has been on the road for the past few months, performing for fans across the country, and it understandably can be taxing.

"I know that's not possible, but I'd like to take a break," he shared. "It's not gonna happen, but when I know, you'll know."
