On Jan. 23, 2024, YFN Lucci pleaded guilty to a gang-related charge after taking a plea deal.

He was then sentenced to 10 years in jail with additional years in probation.

YFN Lucci Guilty: Jail Time Explored

Formally known as Rayshawn Bennett, YFN Lucci has pleaded guilty to one count of violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.

Indicted in Atlanta in 2021, Bennett was charged with murder, gang, and racketeering charges, among many others.

The deal was quite a huge advantage for Lucci, who had 12 out of 13 counts dropped, including felony murder which could send him to jail for life.

YFN Lucci's jail time is 10 years and another decade on probation. Billboard noted that if he would be granted parole, he could be released as early as four months and serve the remainder of his sentence on probation.

"After three years of pretrial litigation, more than two weeks of jury selection and three years of incarceration waiting for his jury trial, today, the prosecution finally relented and dismissed the murder and RICO charges against Rayshawn Bennett," YFN Lucci's attorney said in a statement to Billboard. "After the dismissal of 12 of the 13 counts against him, Mr. Bennett entered a plea to one gang-related count."

Bennett surrendered in 2021 after he was indicted along with other Bloods gang members. Since Lucci was not released on bond, he served time in prison, which was credited - making him eligible for parole.

Georgia will not be filing anything that would object to his release. WSB TV reported that Lucci apologized to the family's victim before his actual sentencing.

Will YFN Lucci Snitch On Young Thug?

YFN Lucci and Young Thug are both charged with racketeering amid their longstanding feud. Asked whether YFN Lucci's release would mean that he would testify against his foe, Bennett's lawyer had this to say:

"As he has maintained for three years now, Mr. Bennett will NOT cooperate in any other case," he told the publication. "By entering into this resolution, he will be eligible for parole in as early as four months from now. The prosecution has also agreed that he should be released early on parole and this will allow him to get back to his children, family and career."
