Demi Lovato 'Heart Attack' Performance At The AHA

In an event raising awareness about deadly cardiovascular ailments for the American Heart Association, Demi Lovato chose to perform her hit song "Heart Attack."

Although the song may have hit the brief one way or another, it seemed like an odd choice to sing to a crowd full of heart attack survivors.

People on Reddit echoed the sentiments and are laughing at the said song choice.

"Singing 'if I ever did that I think I'ld have a heart attack' to heart attack survivors is crazyyy," a user pointed out.

"she clearly has good intentions for a lot of her scandals but howwwww did no one tell her this was a terrible idea," another said.

"You know what, this gives the vibe of the instagram stories of her petting a turkey and then the next story of one being cooked for thanksgiving, this doesn't surprise me at alllllll," a fan compared.

Others even pointed out that she could have sung her other song, "Give Your Heart A Break" instead. Meanwhile, others defended Demi's choice of song.

"People acting like this is only demis fault. I'm sure the event runners had to approve the setlist or at least do a rehearsal, so they had opportunities to tell her not to perform it. They asked her to perform a greatest hits set, it's one of her biggest hits," one wrote.
