Suge Knight finds himself in a position of great importance.

The tables have turned as authorities now seek him as a key defense witness for the Tupac murder suspect, Keefe D.

It is no secret that Suge Knight holds the answers to the mysteries surrounding Tupac's tragic assassination in 1996.

Shortly after, seasoned criminal attorney Carl Arnold plans to visit the notorious rap executive and former head of Death Row Records at the RJ Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego.

The purpose of this visit is to discuss the possibility of him speaking on behalf of his client.

Legal Chess Moves

Suge Knight, who is currently incarcerated for 28 years in connection with a tragic hit-and-run incident, has openly declared his unwillingness to provide testimony during the trial.

Keefe D, whose real name is Duane Davis, switched from his previous public defender to the highly regarded criminal law attorney, Carl Arnold.

During an interview with The Sun, Carl expressed his determination, stating, "Rest assured, I have every intention of meeting with Mr. Knight personally, introducing myself, and exploring any potential avenues to secure his testimony in the upcoming Las Vegas trial."

"Here's the guy that can turn to his right and tell us if Duane Davis was in that car. All I need for him to say is not."

In light of his extensive background as a former US assistant attorney in San Diego, Carl acknowledges the tremendous amount of time he has dedicated to preparing for the impending trial.

Recognizing its significance, the lawyer believes that any statement received from Suge.

Suge's Witness Role

Despite being present during the shooting incident in 1996, Suge, the driver of the white Cadillac in which Tupac was traveling, has consistently chosen not to assist Vegas Metro Police, LAPD, and federal agents by providing his eyewitness account.

When asked how he would persuade Suge to spill the beans, Carl said, "Well, I'm going to pull every favor, everything I can to make sure that happens...and not only talk to me and be able to testify at the time of trial."

Carl, an experienced practitioner with two decades of service, expressed his desire to see Suge present at the upcoming trial in the esteemed Las Vegas District Court.

"Indeed, it would be ideal. Although Suge's current confinement poses a logistical challenge, perhaps we can overcome it by arranging a video appearance," he explained.

"So he could come from his jail cell under my examination and, subject to cross-examination from the DA, be able to provide eyewitness testimony regarding Mr. Davis not being in the car."

Arnold also said, "I can assure you that Keefe was not in the vehicle when Tupac was shot. There is no supporting evidence to suggest otherwise. Not only [was he] not in the car, he was not in Las Vegas at the time."

Meanwhile, Keefe D, the individual charged with the murder of Tupac, has shockingly maintained his innocence throughout the legal proceedings.
