How Did Selena Quintanilla Die?

The devastating event took place just two weeks before Selena Quintanilla's anticipated 24th birthday.

Amid the pop star's growing fame, her father started receiving troubling messages from loyal fan club members.

These messages revealed that the fans were not receiving the items they had purchased, and worse yet, it came to light that Yolanda, the person in charge, had been stealing money from a store in San Antonio.

With this disheartening news weighing on her mind, Selena reportedly couldn't help but feel compelled to address the situation head-on.

As the Queen of Tejano Music made her exit, a shot echoed through the air, piercing her back.

Selena reportedly sought refuge and sprinted to the lobby of the hotel. She swiftly divulged Yolanda's identity as the perpetrator and the person who shot her.

Tragically, the legendary star succumbed to her injuries at Corpus Christi Memorial Hospital, dying from the combined effects of severe blood loss and cardiac arrest.
