Katy Perry has stayed relatively silent following her highly successful Las Vegas Residency last year, but it seems like the hitmaker is returning to the stage as one of the performers at Rock In Rio 2024.
The news of the "Teenage Dream" singer returning to the limelight this September has brought many rejoicing, after all, it also means that the upcoming performance might be accompanied by new music.

Katy Perry Promises New Music in 2024
Perry's latest release was her sixth studio album, "Smile," in 2020. The album included several singles such as "Daisies," the title track "Smile," and "Not The End of the World."
According to reports, though, the "Last Friday Night" singer is finally ready to welcome another era of her music this year.
"Katy has been working on her most personal album ever for much of the past two years,' a source revealed.
"She has been doing it on her own terms and it is quite different from anything she has released before."

Katy Perry Going On Tour Soon?
Aside from new music, the source also hinted that Perry might jump right back into touring.
"But after so long spent on the West Coast of the US, she feels ready to tour again. The demand is there because she has so many hits, so taking her show on the road is bound to be a big draw."
As of this writing, there is not a lot of information regarding the singer's upcoming album, nor are there any teasers that would suggest that it is coming, but her fans are hopeful.
Her upcoming performance at Rock In Rio 2024 seems to suggest that she has something up her sleeve.
