Ariana Grande and Mariah Carey are collaborating after so many years of fan requests!
The two powerhouse vocalists are linking up for a remix of "Yes, And?," Grande's lead single for her new album, "Eternal Sunshine."

Ariana Grande announced the collaboration on her Instagram account, shortly after she and Carey changed their Instagram profile pictures of their eyes.
She then shared a photo of herself and Carey, confirming the said collaboration.
"I cannot believe the words I am typing," she revealed. "Yes, And? Remix feat the one and only, queen of my heart and lifelong inspiration @mariahcarey is out this Friday !!!!!!!!!!!"
According to the Grammy-winning singer, there are truly "no words" that can suffice her excitement.
"Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this dream come true and for sprinkling your brilliance and magic on my little song @mariahcarey. It means more to me than I could ever possibly articulate and I cannot wait for everyone to hear this! I love you eternally !!!!!!!" she went on to say.
In the past, Grande and Carey have been compared relentlessly because of their vocal similarities. Fans have been hounding the two singers to collaborate on a track or to do something together.
In 2020, Grande made an appearance with Jennifer Hudson on Carey's "Oh Santa." But since then, the two have yet to collaborate on an official track.
Grande has publicly confessed her admiration toward Carey on numerous occasions. She has called the singer her "idol and inspiration," multiple times already.

On social media, fans of both Grande and Carey expressed their excitement for the upcoming collaborative project.
"i'm PRAYING this is a genuinely amazing remix and becomes a hit for mariah, and i really hope this means we're getting new solo mariah music soon," a fan said on Reddit.
"so unbelievably excited about this. i was a big fan of yes, and? it was a brilliant comeback single for ari imo and im still not sick of it. mariah remix will be amazing i can't wait to hear her on the song, and is such a cool decision considering how compared they've been throughout ariana's career. here's to hoping this is what gets mariah her 20th #1," another commented.
