The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra has started a significant downturn amid negotiations between musicians and management. In response to the negative comments regarding the lockout, the ASO shut down the "comments" section on the website.

Perhaps merely perpetuating the madness circling the disputes, the board and management may resort to using bodyguards, echoing what happened in Minnesota.

Treating the situation as an act of violent revolt, the symphony doesn't seem to be responding with any form of hostility. Instead, they seem to be peacefully protesting.

If you aren't aware, two years ago musicians in the ASO were required to take a $14,000 pay cut to help cover a growing deficit of $1.5 million. Now, the management, Stanley Romanstein, posted a deficit of $2,786,000 and is demanding musicians relinquish their jobs and health care.
