Usher performed at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, earlier this month for the Super Bowl Halftime Show and he recently revealed that his performance contained some bits and pieces of tribute to honor R&B icons who paved the way for him; did you spot them?

The musician recently sat down for an interview with "The Breakfast Club" where he noted that the public might have missed some of the easter egg tributes he added to his performance as a nod to his favorite artists.

One recognizable hidden detail was the empty drum kit which is his way to pay homage to the late drummer Aaron Spears, but there was so much more that many fans might not have caught when it first aired.

"What you don't realize is that there are so many gems you have yet to unlock. You only caught one," he told the host Charlamagne The God.

However, he also paid homage to Marvin Gaye. In addition, he also paid tribute to Bobby Brown by removing his shirt while his tank top was for Teddy Pendergrass.

Later in the conversation, Usher added that the "piano moment" was for Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway, and another bit was for Luther Van Dross.
