Miley Cyrus reportedly slapped a rapper.
In a recent episode of the "Just B with Bethenny Frankel" podcast, Flavor Flav shared a remarkable anecdote about his encounter with the former Disney Channel star.
The veteran rapper recounted a surprising moment when the "Party in the USA" playfully "smacked" him in the face, mistaking him for someone else.
But at the backstage of the 2024 Grammy Awards, Miley Cyrus crossed paths once more with him and praised him for recognizing her.
Miley Cyrus Slapped Flavor Flav
In the podcast, the "Fight The Power" rapper explained what really happened.
"There was a time a few years back when they both had the same haircut. That's the thing that got me."
"When I first met Miley, I was like, 'Oh my God, Gwen Stefani, Gwen Stefani!' You know what? Miley didn't say anything. She just went along with it."
Upon parting ways with her, Flavor Flav revealed that a companion mistakenly identified Miley as Gwen, prompting him to backtrack out of remorse.
"I turned around, and I ran back to her. I was like, 'Oh my God, I'm so sorry. Yo, Miley Cyrus, I know who you are now. Your dad is Billy Ray Cyrus.'"
"I was like, 'Oh my God, I'm so stupid,'" the rapper said.
"She smacked me in the face. Miley Cyrus slapped Flavor Flav in the face, and I said, 'I won't let it happen again. We laughed it off."

Backstage Interaction
Following their interaction at the 2024 Grammys, a clip captured Miley embracing the iconic "Bring the Noise" rapper and playfully declaring that she had "made it" now that he recognized her.
"You don't think I'm Gwen Stefani anymore," the "We Can't Stop" hitmaker said with a smile.
"You used to call me Gwen every time I saw you."
In the past, whenever they crossed paths, Flavor Flav affectionately referred to her as Gwen. His response was a simple "I know," to which she expressed her comfort by remarking, "I love it."
They exchanged "I love you" before walking away.
