Candiace Dillard rose to prominence thanks to Bravo's hit show, "The Real Housewives of Potomac," and while it gave her the boost she needed to get into the entertainment industry, she is now ready to pursue music full-time.

"They have supported me immensely with my music career, with my acting career, with just my love for wanting to express myself as an artist," the singer said about Bravo and "RHOP."

"They've really given me the space to talk through and talk about my love for [the] industry," she added, before explaining that "all good things must come to an end."

Candiace Dillard Releasing New Music

Elsehwere in her interview with Page Six, the reality star revealed that she is currently gearing up to release the follow-up to her 2021 debut album "Deep Space."

"I am so excited for everyone to hear the new stuff," Dillard gushed to the publication. "I'm putting my heart and soul into this, and I really think it'll resonate."

"Deep Space" boasts 15 songs in the tracklist, including "Cause a Scene," "Hands in the Air," "Is It Enough?," "Show Me," "Love Notez," "Drive Back," "Stay With Me" with Traci Braxton, and more.

Before joining "RHOP" in 2018, Dillard won Miss United States in 2013.

Candiace Dillard The Next Cardi B?

Dillard's move to the music industry is not quite a surprise to those around her, since she has always expressed interest in music and performing live.

"Shoutout to Kandi Burruss, who ... [has] always been a hero for me," the singer said, who compared her Bravo exit to the Grammy-winning songwriter.

"I just love that she's made this clean, beautiful, peaceful exit - or break, as she put it - just because she's so wrapped up in all of these successful endeavors, including music, including theater, entrepreneurship.

"Everything she's doing, it's insane in the greatest way," she added. "I would love to someday take a page out of her book."

Dillard's roots in music run deeper than some expect, and fans think that she has what it takes to be the next biggest star in the music industry.

According to reports, many compared the singer to Cardi B, who shot into superstardom after leaving "Love & Hip Hop: New York."

Cardi B is now one of the most successful female rappers; she has released several chart-topping hits like "Bodak Yellow," "WAP," and more.
