In just two years, Queen has amassed an impressive $101.8 million in profits through their legendary world tour, showcasing their enduring appeal to audiences across the globe.

Even years after the passing of their lead singer, Freddie Mercury, the band's recent financial records demonstrate that they are still dominating stages worldwide.

Surviving members Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon collectively earned $112 million in profits over 2021 and 2022.

Major Financial Achievement For Queen

The band members of Queen Productions Ltd rewarded themselves a total of $37.9 million in earnings. The dividend for the year 2022 amounted to $16.3 million a decrease from the previous year's $21.5 million with the funds distributed among them as directors.

In the recent financial disclosure of 2022, it was reported that the band's pre-tax earnings surged to $28 million from $21.2 million in the previous fiscal year.

Per the Mirror, "This can be attributed in part to the success of the We Will Rock You theatre production UK tour as well as an increase in license fees on live music touring."

In the most recent report, the net profit margin surged by 11%, thanks to a rise in revenue paired with a drop in royalties owed.

As the findings indicate, the band can anticipate a steady income stream for the foreseeable future.

According to the document, "Given the success of [the film] Bohemian Rhapsody and We Will Rock You in recent years, it is anticipated the company will generate similar income in the year ended September 30 2023 and in the years thereafter."

In 2022, the turnover reached an impressive $61.6 million significantly increasing from the $49.1 million turnover recorded in 2021.
