Karol G was rattled after the pilots of her private jet sent out a distress call after discovering smoke in the cockpit and was forced to make an emergency landing at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles on Mar. 1, Friday.

According to People Magazine, the Colombian singer and the rest of the people in the jet, which carried 16 passengers, did not seem injured or harmed after the incident.

Karol G was spotted hugging some of her fellow passengers after they exited the jet; they were met with airport emergency vehicles.

The jet just took off from Hollywood Burbank Airport on Feb. 29, Thursday, when they sent out the distress call and made an emergency landing.

More About Karol G's Iconic Private Jet

As of this writing, the "TQG" hitmaker has yet to issue a personal statement, and her team also declined to comment about the incident.

"A twin-engine Gulfstream IV landed safely at Van Nuys Airport in California around 9 p.m. local time on Thursday, Feb. 29 after the pilot reported smoke in the cockpit," read a report from the Federal Aviation Administration.

"The flight departed from Hollywood Burbank Airport and was headed to El Salvador International Airport."

Karol G's jet is easily identifiable since it is decorated with a barbed wire heart-which is the same image she has tattooed on her left arm.

The image holds significance to the "MI EX TENíA RAZóN" hitmaker because it was also featured on her album,

"People don't know that this tattoo is the opener of my [next] album. I mean, literally, a lot of things start from here," Karol G explained in 2022.

"The tattoo represents a moment in my life where [sic] I questioned myself a lot. I strengthened and weakened myself a lot. It was a very important moment for me personally, not for my career. For Carolina."

Karol G Celebrates Grammy Win

The incident surrounding Karol G's private jet came a little under a month after a successful run at the 2024 Grammy Awards.

"I love being a girl because I can show people that we can do everything: We can wear anything and talk about anything," the singer said about representing Latinas in an interview in 2018.

"If you feel comfortable with yourself, anything can happen!"

In 2023, she reflected on her music and self-love journey: "I want the people to listen to what I have been working on because I am opening my heart with the lyrics of these songs.

"I realized that my first love, my forever, and the love of my life, was going to be me always."
