Travis Barker's son, Landon Barker, who's making waves in the music industry for his solo music, has revealed a shocking health confession after fans on social media asked him.

Landon took to his official TikTok account to respond to one of his supporters who asked him if he has Tourette syndrome, which he confirmed that he has, but it's a minor case.

"I figured I'd speak on this eventually. But yeah, I actually do have very, very minor Tourette's," he said.

He further explained that he had it since preschool, and there was even a time when he was studying that the teacher accused him of rolling his eyes because it was one of his tics.

In the present, Landon said that some of his tics include head jerking and jaw movements.

"Yeah, it really just acts up in nervous situations and nerve-racking environments for me... But I thought I'd just share because why not?"

What is Tourette Syndrome

According to WebMD, this type of condition is a problem within the nervous system that causes people to make sudden movements or sounds, often called tics.

Unfortunately, when a person suffers from "tics," they cannot control them, but there are some treatments that can lessen them.

Over 100,000 Americans suffer from this condition, but more people have a milder form of Tourette syndrome.

People can get it as early as their childhood, and boys are more prone to the condition than girls. In some cases, it typically goes away completely when they grow up.

Musicians Who Have Tourette Syndrome

One of the musicians who have Tourette syndrome is Lewis Capaldi; he publicly shared his health struggles with the condition as well as hypochondria. Minor tics began during childhood but became "out of control" as he grew up.

"I got told I had Tourette's a week ago. Know how many people I've told I have Tourette's since then? It's outrageous. People think I'm bragging," he said. (via Pop Sugar)

Billie Eilish also opened up about having the condition, discussing her experience in an interview with David Letterman for his show "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction."

She revealed that she was diagnosed when she was 11 years old, and most of the time, people misunderstand her for her condition.

Other musicians with the condition are James Durbin, Dylan C. Brady, Anilee List, and many more.
