Dolly Parton has a strong feeling that Beyonce may have recorded (and included) one of her most popular songs on her new album, "Renaissance: Act II."
Parton and Beyonce have had a very sweet relationship with each other, with the Country icon revealing that they have exchanged messages in the past.
Beyonce 'Jolene' Cover In 'Renaissance: Act II'
Speaking to Knox News, Country music icon Dolly Parton shared that she believes Beyonce has something up on her sleeve for her "Renaissance: Act II" - specifically "Jolene."
"Well, I think she has! I think she's recorded 'Jolene' and I think it's probably gonna be on her country album, which I'm very excited about that," she revealed. "I love her! She's a beautiful girl and a great singer."
Truthfully, Parton's statements were purely speculative as of this writing, but Variety noted that she "heard" and "thinks" and "hopes" that Beyonce gave her song a masterful cover. She even revealed that they got in touch through the years, which would provide her hopes some possible weight.
"We've kind of sent messages back and forth through the years," she confirmed. "And she and her mother were like fans, and I was always touched that they were fans, and I always thought she was great."

Dolly Parton Supportive of Beyonce's Country Transition
Parton has been entirely supportive of Beyonce since she decided to transition into country music for her next album. She congratulated her when "Texas Hold' Em" reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
"I'm a big fan of Beyonce and very excited that she's done a country album," Parton wrote on Instagram. "So congratulations on your Billboard Hot Country number one single. Can't wait to hear the full album!"
Elsewhere in the Knox News interview, Parton also talked about Beyonce's transition to the genre.
"A lot of people don't realize Beyonce is a country girl. She's from Texas," she pointed out. "I think we belong wherever we can do good, and her song is number one across every chart in the whole world, I think. So, I mean, who can argue with that?"
Beyonce's "Renaisssance: Act II" arrives on Mar. 29, 2024.
