Months after Jimmy Buffett's death, the world will honor and remember him through a tribute concert.
On September 1, 2023, Buffett died peacefully at the age of 76 while surrounded by his "family, friends, music and dogs." His cause of death was later determined as Merkel cell skin cancer - a rare, aggressive type of skin cancer.
Months before celebrating his life during his death anniversary, people close to him started planning a special tribute concert for the late crooner.

The official Hollywood Bowl's X page confirmed the arrival of the "Keep the Party Going: A Tribute to Jimmy Buffett" tribute concert months after the "Margaritaville" singer's passing.
Who Are the Performers at the Tribute Concert?
According to Ultimate Classic Rock and Culture, the tribute concert will feature performances from Paul McCartney, Eagles, Jon Bon Jovi, Zac Brown, Jackson Brown, Brandi Carlile, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Scotty Emerick and Jack Johnson.
Caroline Jones, Mac McAnally, Jake Owen, Pitbull, Jake Shimabukuro and The Coral Reefer Band will also appear onstage.
Special guests will also be at the event, though their identities have yet to be confirmed.
McCartney worked with Buffett in his final album, "Equal Strain on All Parts," and he called the singer a person with the "most amazing lust for life and a beautiful sense of humor" in his tribute message after the "Cheeseburger in Paradise" singer's passing.
"Right up to the last minute his eyes still twinkled with a humor that said, 'I love this world and I'm going to enjoy every minute of it.' So many of us will miss Jimmy and his tremendous personality. His love for us all, and for mankind as a whole," part of his message read.
