It's been four years since it was announced that a biopic about Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne would be created. The film will explore the dark times of their relationship. However, details behind the project have yet to be announced, and the Osbourne family shared their thoughts about the potential actors who will play their counterparts.

The family recently took to their "The Osbournes Podcast," which is available to stream on YouTube, Spotify, and more, to discuss the biopic, and they have interesting suggestions on which actors would be suitable to play the famous couple.

For Kelly Osbourne, she wanted award-winning actress Florence Pugh to play Sharon, and she thinks that she would do a "fantastic job."

"I think Florence Pugh or the little girl from Game of Thrones," Sharon agreed, to which Jack Osbourne noted that the one she was referring to was Maisie Williams.

Ozzy Osbourne to be Played by Bill Hader?

On the other hand, Jack suggested that Bill Hader play Ozzy because of their resemblance, and he believes that the actor will do an excellent job morphing into the character.

"Everyone thinks I'm f*****' crazy until I show a side-by-side picture, [not to mention] that guy's ability to morph [into a character]," he said. (via Consequence)

Kelly later noted that an unknown actor should play her father. In 2022, he mentioned that he didn't want a man like Johnny Depp to portray him in a film; he'd rather have someone who "is relatively unknown."

As of this writing, neither Bill Hader nor Florence Pugh have confirmed if they will be involved in the upcoming project.

Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon Osbourne Biopic

According to the outlet, the movie will revolve around Ozzy and Sharon's relationship from 1979 to 1996, when the singer was between 31 and 48 years old.

"The film is in active development," Ozzy said in 2020.

He further shared details about the movie, saying it will tackle their love for one another from the moment they met, fell in love, and how they got married.

"She grew up a lot with me, and I grew up a lot with her," the musician added.

As of this writing, details behind the movie's release date and cast members have yet to be publicized.
