Social media users are calling out the 2024 Glastonbury Festival lineup as being lackluster.
The festival is scheduled to take place at Worthy Farm in Somerset, UK, from Wednesday, June 26 to Sunday, June 30.
Glastonbury Festival 2024 Lineup: Predominantly Female Artists
Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and SZA are set to grace the Pyramid Stage, and the Sunday performance will be Shania Twain.
Despite the announcement, fans expressed their lack of excitement, feeling unimpressed by Coldplay's fourth headlining appearance at Glastonbury and surprised by the addition of SZA, who has not yet achieved a UK number one.

Disappointing Glastonbury 2024 Lineup, According To Fans
On X, previously known as Twitter, fans were flooded with disappointed reactions as they aired their grievances about the lineup, especially missing out on the rumored appearance of Madonna.
"Interesting Glastonbury line up. Very disappointed Madonna said no. Also who the hell is SZA?????"
Another said, "This is probably the worst Glastonbury lineup ever? Where is the variety? It's all pop singers. Dua Lipa headlining? Give me my money back."
"Never in the history of #Glastonbury has there been a more underwhelming set of headliners. Imagine wading through two-foot-deep mud to be greeted by a Coldplay headline set."
A fourth disgruntled social media user expressed frustration, saying, "It seems as though this lineup is geared towards Gen Z."
"What about those loyal festival attendees who have been supporting the event for ages? It feels like there's nothing for us anymore. I'm even considering selling my tickets."
A fifth social media user mentioned, "While I am a fan of Dua Lipa and Coldplay, the overall lineup leaves me underwhelmed."
On the bright side, not everything was negative, as many Glastonbury Festival fans were thrilled to witness Dua Lipa and SZA's headlining performances.
Praising the lineup, one fan remarked, "Dua's career is reaching new heights with this opportunity."

Glastonbury Full of Controversy
In 2023, festival goers' enthusiastic response and feedback were particularly noteworthy after Arctic Monkeys' performance on the Pyramid Stage at the 2023 Glastonbury Festival, marking their third headline appearance.
After them was Lizzo, who shared top billing on the lineup poster.
Meanwhile, Elton's Sunday night headline in also 2023 set served as the grand finale for his UK farewell tour, and Saturday night featured Guns N' Roses, with the original lineup of Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan.
Critics have also raised concerns regarding the selection of predominantly male artists as headliners at Glastonbury, which also shocked many that most of the headliners are female artists.
